Harrisburg, PA — If Not For Me is set to release their melody-driven new track "Alone" due out December 1 via InVogue Records. This single is the band's fourth release being signed to InVogue Records and is a follow-up to their well-received tracks, "Blameless," "Feel Me Now" and "Demons."
If Not For Me showcases a subtle side to their music. The band hones in on a brutally melodic sound as it grows into fierce hooks throughout the chorus. "Alone" explores If Not For Me's diversity while lacing it with their own familiarity. This single leads fans into a new territory while drawing new listeners in.
“Alone is the culmination of a last-ditch effort to reconcile a relationship that you know is already over. I wanted to write a relatable story about love and loss, ending in heartbreak and fear of abandonment. I think it’s a very powerful and familiar feeling to grow so attached to someone that you empty yourself into them completely to the point where you believe that you can’t survive without them, and I really wanted to capture that desperation in the tone and lyrics. Alone is a very personal song to me, and I hope our fans are able to really get something meaningful out of it.” - Patty Glover, lead vocalist.
If Not For Me have shown significant growth with their latest album, Eulogy which on its first week reached #53 - “Top Current Hard Rock Albums,” #70 - “Top New Artist Albums,” and #173 - “Top Current Independent Albums” on Billboard. The album received widespread praise for its tight musicianship, emotive lyrics, and unrelenting energy. It showcased a new level of maturity in the band's songwriting, while still retaining the fierce, unbridled passion that had endeared them to fans. If Not For Me have no intention of slowing down having shared the stage with bands such Killswitch Engage, Currents, August Burns Red, Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, Attack Attack and more.
